Formed in 2006 by Ady Barnett and Phil Shaw, who have many years of experience in the sheetmetal and steel fabrication industry, Barnett and Shaw have built a team of skilled and experienced sheet metal workers and welders who always have producing a quality job as their number one priority. We offer a comprehensive solution to all your strutural and precision sheet metal working requirements with experience in the follwing areas:

We can handle any project from single individual components to large welded assemblies. We can provide a full subcontract service from design, cutting (including laser cutting), punching, folding, fabricating, welding, painting or powder coating, assembly and delivery. We are happy to quote for one-offs, prototypes, and small or large production runs.

We can receive and use your own CAD files by email or on USB stick, or we can take your existing or conceptual design and turn it into a fully worked up CAD/CAM software 3d model ready for CNC machining, laser cutting and folding. We use the leading industry standard software packages Pro/ENGINEER, SolidWorks and Autocad. This enables us to do virtual prototyping where in addition to generating CNC and laser paths and folding dimensions, we can also input material thickness and bend radius data etc, and look at limits and fits and potential clashes before any actual metal is touched.

Centrally located in the Blaby, Leicester, district of Leicestershire, near to the village of Narborough, Barnett and Shaw are close to the M1, M6 and M69 motorways and ideally placed to fulfill your steel work or sheetmetal requirements wherever in the country you are based.
